Best Holiday Peloton Classes – 2023

Peloton has a lot of different “collections” of classes now, and one of my favorites is their Holiday collection. They add over a dozen classes to it each year, so we get a holiday class from all (or almost all) class types and from a good variety of instructors.

One thing to note about Peloton collections is that they don’t seem to always catch all of the classes that should be in them, so sometimes it’s good to search for specific holiday classes if you don’t see them. For example, there’s a Holiday Row class from last year that didn’t get tagged for the collection, so it doesn’t show up in the section for 2022’s Holiday classes.

This post covers all of my favorite holiday classes from the last few years. If there are any I missed that you think should be on here, let me know!

Rides

30 XOXO Cody: Santa’s Werk-Shop – Cody (2023)

Like most XOXO Cody rides, this is probably not one you want to play out loud with kids in the room (or like I saw someone post on Facebook once, not a class you want to invite your relatives to). I laughed a lot, there was a Q&A session, and there was the classic XOXO Cody game at the end (IYKYK).

30 Holiday Ride – Leanne (2023)

This ride was so fun and so festive. Leanne always has a holiday ride and since this is a holiday class, it had extra sparkles compared to her normal amount of sparkles. I think I’ll always remember this class because she had a super fun dance to go with one of the classic Christmas songs. I tried to keep up with the dance but was struggling, but thankfully she was too – it was a lot of fun.

30 Holiday Ride – Tunde (2022)

I remember I loved this ride and I’m hoping to get to it again this year – Tunde is always a great instructor.

30 Holiday Ride – Emma (2022)

Emma is an instructor I pick when I just need a solid, calm ride. This one had the perfect holiday playlist.

20 Holiday Ride – Leanne (2022)

This is a really fun class – I felt like it was pretty challenging because she keeps the cadence pretty high through the whole thing, so my heart rate was higher than usual the whole time.

(I don’t specifically remember the next few, but if I redo them soon I’ll try to add notes – I have them bookmarked so I know I enjoyed them.)

Runs and Walks

I don’t have a treadmill and cancelled my gym membership this year, so I do most of these outside unless we’re traveling and do one in a hotel gym. I generally just speed up any time the instructors cue a faster speed or an increase in incline, so it’s not perfect but it’s a good way to do a guided run outside. I like doing their outdoor runs and walks too, but there aren’t many of them compared to how many treadmill workouts they release.

30 Holiday Walk – Jess King (2023)

This was a really fun class; the structure was good and the playlist was a lot of fun. Just as a heads-up, if Santa still comes to your house and your kids are around, you probably don’t want to play it out loud. She talks a lot about if she wants to do Santa for her kids.

10 Holiday Cool Down – Kirsten (2022)

Kirsten is one of my favorite running instructors because she always shares some great motivation / wisdom / positivity. I also loved this outfit and ended up buying it – it’s their Cadence fabric which is one of my favorite lines they have.

30 Holiday: Hip Hop – Kirsten (2021)

Kirsten had some fantastic Hip Hop remixes / versions of holiday songs in this playlist. I remember having a ton of fun while doing this run.

(Like in the Rides section above, these next few are from a few years ago so I don’t specifically remember them, but again – I left them bookmarked after taking them so I know I thought they were good ones):

10 Holiday Arms & Light Weights – Leanne (2022)

Leanne has some of my favorite arms & light weights classes, and this one was no exception. I feel like she does a good job of keeping the moves simple and effective; some instructors do some non-traditional moves that end up bothering my shoulders the next day.
